I’m Parisa Shams, and words are the building blocks of my world. They are my bricks. Sometimes I arrange them into a cozy cottage for a short story. Sometimes I stack them with precision, like an engineer, to write screenplays. Other times, I build tall towers for novels, or playfully shape them into treehouses for children’s books.

From 2005 to 2023, I built with words in my mother tongue in Iran, and since 2023, I have been living and writing in Germany—still exploring, still creating.
